We know that a serial number is the principal id for your invoices or estimates, for that reason in Quick Shop Manager we have some tools that will help you to keep the control in your shop.
Initial Serial Numbers
When you start to use Quick Shop Manager, you can set the initial serial numbers of your shop to preserve the continuity of your invoices and estimates before and after Quick Shop Manager.
Follow these steps to learn how set your initial serial numbers:
- Go to menu Settings and select the option Shop Settings
- Click on tab System Settings
- In the group Financial Settings you can find the section Initial Serial Numbers
- Set your numbers
- Click on Save Changes
Now when you go to Make an Order, the serial number will start with your settings
Custom Invoice Serial
With this tool you can change the serial number of the invoice that you are making.
Follow the steps to learn how:
- Confirm that your order is an Invoice
- Click on the link Custom Invoice Serial under the serial number
- Enter your serial number and click on Change
- Now your invoice has a new serial number
Custom serial number was designed to set a future serial number, if you try to set a serial number that has been used, a message will be appear on your screen.
After you save your invoice, the sequence of your serial numbers will go back to normal.
